We are excited to host this year’s European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) Australia Postgraduate Symposium (EAPS2021). This year’s event will be hybrid: fully virtual for the first two days, and in-person (or virtual) for the final day.

To take on emerging challenges we must look to our past for solutions. This is the mantra of this year’s symposium, captured in our theme: “On Giants’ Shoulders: Adapting to an Ever-Changing World”. The symposium will explore a broad range of biological scientific fields, from molecular cell biology to ecology, from cancer to regenerative biology, and from infection and immunity to computational biology.

We welcome and encourage all Honours, Masters & PhD students to attend EAPS2021; the symposium is an excellent opportunity for emerging researchers to learn from world leading researchers, as well as network with a range of other like-minded students and present their work in a friendly and professional environment.

While we finalise this year’s programme, be sure to follow our social media accounts for important deadlines and speaker announcements (#2021EAPS). If you have any questions or want to become involved, please feel free to email us.
